Community Involvement and Personal Background

Outside of his real estate law and title insurance practice, Mr. Bilu is active in the South Florida community. He currently serves as Executive Vice President on the Board of Trustees for Congregation Shaarei Kodesh and as Co-Chair of the Business and Professional Division of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, where he also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Board. He is also involved with his local JCC and supports various community initiatives throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
When he is not representing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, going to concerts, reading widely across genres ranging from science fiction to philosophy, and collecting fine spirits.

He often jokes that he entered law school thinking he would represent rock stars, but ultimately found his calling as a “Dirt Lawyer” — solving title issues, negotiating complex real estate matters, and helping clients navigate one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives.

As an experienced Florida real estate lawyer, he works closely with buyers, sellers, lenders, mortgage brokers, and real estate agents to ensure that contracts, title commitments, and closing documents are accurate, compliant, and protective of his clients’ interests.

Title insurance plays a critical role in protecting property owners and lenders from prior liens, undisclosed encumbrances, recording errors, and other defects that may affect ownership rights. Mr. Bilu routinely conducts detailed title review and resolves complex title issues before closing, including:
